Associate of Arts in Teaching (EC-6, 4-8, EC-12) Degree Plan


PROGRAM INFORMATION: The curriculum shown below is designed for students who plan to pursue a degree in teaching Early Childhood - 6th, 4th - 8th grade, and 8th - 12th grade. After successfully completing the Associate of Arts in Teaching at Navarro College, students are prepared to transfer to a four-year college or university to complete a baccalaureate degree and earn a Texas Teaching Certification.

Note: All students majoring in education must take the Texas Higher Education Assessment (THEA) test and pass the test before they will be allowed to enter into an education program at a senior institution. Forms may be obtained from an academic counselor.
